Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the staff in the Registrar's Office is working remotely until further notice. During this time, transcripts are limited to a PDF format that is sent via email to the receiver. These transcripts will not have the seal/signatures normally included on our paper transcripts. Each transcript will include a transcript key (explanation of grading/credit system) as well as a letter from the Registrar attesting to its authenticity. We ask for your patience and understanding during these difficult times. Please send your transcript requests via email (see below) and refrain from U.S. mail and fax as those sources will be checked and processed only once per week. Please allow 5 business days for processing requests.

Federal law requires that we have a signed written request from you before we can send your transcript. Please send us the following when requesting transcripts:
- Your current name with signature
- Name under which you attended Vassar (if different)
- Complete address where each transcript should be sent
- Student ID number (if known)
- Dates of attendance and graduation or class year
- Your complete address
- Daytime phone number
Please note: We will accept scanned requests as email attachments as long as they include your signature; please send to firstname.lastname@example.org. We accept faxed requests at (845) 437–7060 (note we will process faxed requests only once per week).
Please allow 5 business days for processing requests. There is no fee for transcript requests.
We do not send transcripts for students who have an outstanding financial obligation with the College. If you are unsure of your financial status, please contact the Office of Student Financial Services at (845) 437–5245.
